As all of you know by now i’m a massive fan of films and I occasionally go into HMV and have a browse and sometimes buy something if I have a decent amount of money.

As I’m a Blu-Ray collector, I know very well that HMV have a 3 for £20 or 5 for £30 deal which I have used a lot over the years and over the last few weeks I’ve noticed they have really expanded their range in the deal to a insane level of releases in the deal. Of course it’s benefited me greatly. All genres are catered for as well and have their own fare share of titles new and old. Also they have some boutique label releases in their as well which is great to.

They don’t just do bargains on Blu’s though they do some great deals on DVD’s to with doing 2 for £10 offer which is very good especially on the classic films.

There’s also Fopp too which have great promotional sales on as well, they aren’t as common as the HMV ones but are still very good as they have sales on boutique labels including Arrow Films. BFI, 88 Films and some other ones as well. They have them for about two weeks which is reasonable. They also have promotions on other regular releases which are bargains depending on the film.

I haven’t really checked their DVD sales though. Though I’m sure they do them.

HMV also do boutique label sales occasionally as well and they come in very handy as you can pick up boutique titles pretty cheap for £8.99 each and trust me I have made the most of that I can assure you. If you’ve been on the fence about getting a Blu-Ray player I think HMV’s 3 for £20 will really tempt you as it did me.
