I have to say I was very impressed with everything Hasbro had to show at Toy Fair this year. Though I have to admit I was somewhat disappointed with their Black Series output as they didn’t show all that much that interest me.

Firstly to their Star Wars Black Series output. As the original Star Wars is forty this year so they are re-releasing some of the 6 inch Black Series figure in special blister card packaging like the original figures were with the same artwork of the original figures. This appeals to me as I’ll be able to possibly pick up R2-D2 and C3-PO. They are also re-releasing Princess Leia with a new head sculpt which is very nice. I haven’t seen the original release out in the wilds yet. In this line will also be a Death Star crew member (sorry forgot the original title) a Jawa and a Tusken Raider of which I really want. Though I think the Raider will come in the same wave as Lando, Imperial Guard and Qui-Gon Jin which is yet to be released.

They are also releasing the Centerpiece Collection which will be a series of dynamic Star Wars Black Series 6 inch statues which look pretty good. They’ll have light up features. The price of these hasn’t been revealed yet. The ones that they had shown are Tantine IV raid and Hoth Fallen AT-AT Atttack which features Luke Skywalker in his pilot gear armed with his lightsaber about to fight off a Snowtrooper and a AT AT Pilot.

Where Hasbro showed off a lot this year was in their Marvel Legends Line. They revealed their full line up of Spiderman Homecoming Wave Figures, Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2 Series 2 and a Netflix wave as well. In the Spiderman Homecoming wave we’ll be getting Homecoming Spiderman,  Spidercoming Homecoming Homemade Suit Spiderman, Spiderman Homecoming Vulture, Comics Tombstone, Comic Cosmic Spiderman and Marvel Now Moonknight.

I’m really excited for Moonknight as he’s one of my favourite Marvel Characters and I am glad that we’re getting a brand new Moonknight figure.  In The Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2 Series 2 we’ll be getting Movie Rocket Raccoon with Baby Groot,  Movie Gamora,  Movie Nebula, Movie Star Lord (Long Coat), Ex Nihlo, Adam Warlock, Death Head II and the BAF is Movie Mantis. I would definitely love to get the movie figures from this wave. I haven’t found the first wave here in the UK yet except for scalper prices on EBay 🙁

The Netflix Series really excites me as we’ll be getting Netflix Daredevil, Netflix Electra, Netflix Jessica Jones and Netflix Punisher. As of yet the other figures from this wave haven’t been announced yet nor when this wave we’ll be expected to be released. I have to say it’s a tie between the Netflix Series and The Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2 Series 2.
