I have to say when I started collecting figures I wasn’t really into Marvel Legends. I initially thought they weren’t my thing as the Character selection really didn’t interest me. Then when the Captain America Civil War wave hit I got re-interested in the line and last year I bought more Marvel Legends than I have in the past.

I think it’s down to the character selection, accessories, articulation and the design of the figures. For the most part the paint deco have been great on most of the figures I have. I have to be honest and admit that I haven’t read all that many comics based on the characters that I have in my collection though I know who the characters are to an extent some more so than others.

What I really like is that most of them wear bright and colourful costumes and they really stand out on the shelves. The paint jobs are really clean as well and the accessories are brilliant. All of them now come with Build a Figure pieces and as of yet I haven’t completed a figure as the figures are more expensive than the Black Series figures that Hasbro also produce.

I know that the line had a bit of a rocky start when Hasbro took over from Toy Biz but now they are really hitting their stride with some absolutely brilliant figures. From last year I picked up Deadpool, Spider-Gwen, Ben Reilly Spiderman, Namor, Rouge, Civil War Iron Man, Kitty Pride, Daredevil and Spider-Girl. I know that’s not a lot but that’s the most I have gotten.

The two problems I have with the line is that the figures are on average £25.00 here and there’s very limited availability in retail stores and online all the most popular characters go for Scalper prices which is very disappointing. Though I still support the line and get as many figures as I can when I can.

The exclusive figures like the Walmart ones are very hard to get here in the UK, but they do pop up on Ebay from time to time.Overall I really do love the line and I like how it’s really grown and has become a firm stable in my figure collecting hobby.
