I started collecting NECA’s Predator figures from when they produced figures from Predators which was very early on in the line. Since then the line has gone from strength to strength. NECA’s line covers Predator, Predator 2, Predators, AVP, AVP 2: Requiem, Dark Horse Comics Predators, Batman:Dead End Predators, Kenner Predators, Predator: Concrete Jungle and Aliens Vs Predator (2010 videogame) of course there’s others which I can’t count. The line is so expansive.

I think what I really like about NECA’s Predator figures is that I love the designs of the Predator species and I love all the different armour, masks and weapons that they come with . Not only that is that they look absolutely badass and I personally prefer the look of the Predator to the Alien though I do have a number of Alien figures, though they are much harder to get hold of than Predator figures. I can tell each Predator figure apart from the others and remember where I got them. My personal favourites have to be the AVP Predators from the 2004 film. They look incredible with more articulation than any of the Predators before, removable and interchangeable wrist blades, opening wrist computer and new plasma casters. Now NECA are doing accessory packs for the Predator line for blast effects for the P1 & P2 style casters. Ultimate versions of the Jungle Hunter and City Hunter Predator with tons of accessories and upgraded articulation and starting to produce Predators from the AVP 2010 game with the brilliant looking Serpent Hunter Predator.

They’ve also given us 7″ different versions of Dutch from Predator which is something many fans didn’t expect to see and I know we’ll be getting some more human characters down the line as well.

I have ordered the Scarface Predator from the Concrete Jungle game which I am waiting to arrive in the post. I can’t personally see myself stop collecting any NECA Predator figures anytime soon.
