NECA’s Ultimate Line is one of my absolute favourite lines that NECA produce, now it’s getting even better. Today NECA dropped a big announcement that the Gremlins are joining the Ultimate line. In all honesty it’s something that I would never expect to be made but now I’ve seen it I absolutely love it and want it.

I’m a big fan of Joe Dante’s Gremlins, it’s a Christmas Horror-Comedy classic. I know NECA produced a line of Gremlins figures of the Mogwai’s and Gremlins themselves. Though I only wanted Gizmo and Stripe I could never get them.

Now all that’s about to change after NECA’s latest surprise. I have to say Gizmo is a must have for me, not just because it’s Gizmo but because of all the fantastic accessories. The icing on the cake for me is the interchangeable faces so you can give Gizmo different looks with the facial expressions and the articulated eyes. He looks adorable. He comes with all the accessories that he used/wore in the film and they are fantastic addition.

Unfortunately Gizmo won’t be out in time for Christmas, though he’ll be released next February. NECA have also hinted that they’ll be more Ultimate Gremlins figures in the near future which is absolutely fantastic news for me as I missed out on many of the original releases. I’m really looking forward to seeing Stripe, Mohawk and the other iconic Mogwai’s and Gremlins from the two films.
