I have to say I’ve been spending quite a bit of time recently discovering some film orientated channels on YouTube. I know there’s a lot of big name YouTube Channels out there, but I’m not here to focus on them as they get a lot of attention already. What I want to do is recommend the film channels that I love which deserve a lot more attention than they deserve as they really do show they absolutely love films.

Good Bad Flicks

Of all the channels that I’m recommending here I’ve been subscribed to Good Bad Flicks the longest. I was first introduced to the channel by Bloody Disgusting where they had posted up an article about the changes to the PG-13 certificate with Good Bad Flicks – WTF Happened to PG-13 ? video. I found the video very entertaining and informative and I’ve been hooked ever since. What I really love about his channel is that he reviews all sorts of films both old and new ( a lot of Italian apocalypse films). He really goes into detail as well. He’s very honest with his opinion and is very informative as well giving some background information how the film was made or behind the scenes trivia. I’ve watched quite a number of reviews from his recommendations as well. Also the weekly Netflix Recommendations are terrific.

Burger Fiction

Unlike the other channels on this list Burger Fiction is a compilation channel of film clips be it 100 Greatest One-Liners: After The Kill, The Evolution of Pixar & This Supercut Will Make You Jump and so forth. They are very entertaining and very well put together. They are also very informative as well without any real narration to them. Give this channel a look

Oliver Harper

Being honest I can’t really remember how I first came across Oliver Harper‘s channel. Though from the moment I watched that video I was hooked. I really love his Retrospective Reviews. He goes into detail unlike any other Youtube Film Channel I know. He covers every single element of the film; the acting, directing, cinematography,score and to an extent video games. He introduces and ends his retrospectives with his own edited trailers which really get you amped for the film. You can tell he has a genuine love for what he does and films. I always look forward to his reviews, they are simply unlike any other YouTube channel. Check it out.
