Just a number of weeks ago Arrow Video & Arrow Academy Revealed their September release slate and it was absolutely fantastic. They announced: Matinee, Dead End Drive In, Slugs, The Hills Have Eyes, Raising Cain under their Arrow Video Banner and The Glass Key and The Blue Dahlia under their Academy Banner.

I can honestly say I want all their titles that they’ll release in September. What I’ve also noticed with Arrow is that they are releasing some of their titles on DVD so I can build up my Arrow Video DVD collection as well which is fantastic.

I’m very happy that they are releasing more Joe Dante and Brian De Palma films, they are very much welcome additions to their expanding library. I’ve always wanted more De Palma after learning more about his filmography. Also som Ozplotation is great with Dead End Drive In, I wonder what other titles they release. Also it’s great to see some more noir being released as well as it’s a favourite genre of mine.

I have to say I love how Arrow expand their range all the time with new releases coming from different genres. It’s not something we see so often with boutique labels. I’ve got a lot of their releases this year and I plan to get many more as well.
