I’ve not seen all the Rambo Films and being honest I don’t really want to. Though I have seen First Blood and First Blood Part 2 and I really enjoyed those movies. NECA had got the license before I had watched the films and Iwas quite interested in it when they revealed the Rambo from first Blood.

Then the first figure came out and I was not all that impressed with it personally so I gave it a miss though he looked  good but not enough to purchase. Then they released an early version of him from the film when he was wearing the sack to keep warm and I was rather impressed with it. Even more so when I got my hands on it though the strap round his chest was broken on mine. So I added a rope round his waist instead.

The flesh tone and the face sculpt looked brilliant. And the accessories were fantastic too.

Shortly after it’s released they teased that they are going to make Rambo figures from Part 2 and dropped teasers over time. Then they gave the full reveal at SDCC and they looked fantastic and i’m looking to get both versions.

The first version released is the RPG version which will also come with the Heavy Rifle with strap, Knife, Grenade and Interchangeable Hands. I really love the look of this and I am looking to get this figure later this week.

Then the second version will come with a different head sculpt though it’s the same as the RPG one on the prototype. He’ll come with a bow and i have to say he looks absolutely awesome and i cannot wait for this !. As of yet we don’t know what other accessories he’ll come with aside Bow, Arrow and Knife.

At this rate i may get the other Rambo’s if this line continues as he gets older which will make an awesome display in my opinion. It depends on the sales of this line and i really hope it goes well as i really like how this line is going.

I know that NECA is doing a NES version too which looks terrific and i’m definitely getting that too as i have not got any of their video game figures yet and i really would like to get them as they have done brilliant jobs on them and Rambo looks no different. He’s expected to be released in January.
