So the rumours were true ! McFarlane Toys have added two more figures to the Series 7. A different version of Hershel and Rick Grimes.

Before going on any furher I have to say these figures are redo’s with new parts. The Hershel appraiseis the same as the Series 6 one which will be out soon with a different headsculpt with a bandanna over his face from one of the later episodes in series 4. He also comes with his own severed head with Michonne’s sword which a certain someone used to kill him. I’m hoping he comes with the shotgun that he used whilst the flu epidemic or at least I hope the Series 6  version comes with it.

The Series 7 Rick is a redo of the Series 1 Rick with a brand new head and hat. I have to say it looks much better than the original as it’s painted a lot better and the new head is great.  I hope the hat is removable.  Also i hope that he comes with some new accessories. It would be great if we could attach the walkie talkie to his belt if he comes with it.  I may get the Rick and Hershel I’ll just have to wait till more details are released on them.

Overall I’m okay with Series 7 now they may not be much in the way of new characters but I’m thinking they’ll save them to series 8 when series 6 starts as the figures are usually one series behind in appearance eg Series 6 Carol  comes out just as Series 5 starts and she looks how she does in Series 4. So I’m guessing this is their plan.
